Basically, this started as a personal tool I developed when I was setting up the galleries for our wedding pictures. I have been using the online photo service <a href="http://www.smugmug.com/">Smugmug</a>. I needed a good way to copy images from one gallery to another, so I wrote a tool to do it.

After all the work it took to get that working, I figured I might was well put together an install and make it available to other people. The most interesting part of the project was figuring out a registration-key system, and hooking in payment processing from Paypal to automatically email out registration keys upon successful payment.]]></content:encoded>
