In my mind, Pomona, California will always be the home of Adventures in Odyssey, simply because that was their mailing address when I was listening as a kid. Same goes for Grand Rapids, Michigan, which is where Children’s Bible Hour was based.
As of this weekend, I will have passed through both of these places. It’s a little strange to see a town, and there be no trace of the thing which was my sole reason for knowing of the town in the first place. I almost expect to see a sign: “Welcome to Grand Rapids, home of Children’s Bible Hour”.
